N°5 Eau de Parfum is Jacques Polge's 1986 interpretation of the original N°5, which perfumer Ernest Beaux created for Gabrielle Chanel in 1921 and which remains one of the most famous perfumes ever made. Aldehydes give it that bright, powdery sparkle over a floral heart of rose, jasmine and iris, with vetiver and sandalwood underneath. It's elegant and quite formal. Fragrantica voters rate it for day and night, mostly in the cooler months, so in the Philippines it suits aircon, evenings and special occasions. A 2ml is the easy way to try a classic.
