Replica By the Fireplace is Maison Margiela's 2015 scent by perfumer Marie Salamagne. Cloves, pink pepper and orange blossom open it, chestnut, guaiac wood and juniper sit at the heart, and vanilla, Peru balsam and cashmeran make up the base. It wears warm, smoky and sweet, like roasted chestnuts by a fire. Fragrantica voters wear it almost only in winter and fall, and mostly at night, so in the Philippines it suits cold air-conditioned rooms and evenings out. A 2ml is about 20 sprays, enough to test it before a 5ml or 10ml.
